"So...How Much Does it Cost?"
After understanding how we media blast, the first question is always, "how much would it cost to blast my project?" The short answer is, we quote by the job. We do not charge hourly. This way you will know exactly how much you will pay before leaving your parts or car with us. There are two main attributes that impact pricing: time and the amount of media used. Things that impact the amount of time and media that we use include:
- The amount of surface area
- Heavy rust scale / surface pitting
- Undercoating - we can remove it, it just takes a little more time
- Powder coating - it can also be removed, it just takes a bit longer than paint removal
- Multiple/complex surface areas (an area can only be blasted from one angle at a time)
Nearly every project we do has at least a few (if not all!) of these attributes, so don't worry!
"How can I help keep the cost down?"
- Clean your parts of grease before bringing them in (Grease will not come off with blast)
- Disassemble as much as possible giving us better/faster access - we do not disassemble parts in our shop
- Remove any surface items that you can (stickers, decals brackets, hinges, old gaskets, sound deadener sheets, hoses, lines, etc.) - expose as much metal as possible
- We can do a "partial blast" - you choose the areas of the body for us to blast that are most critical to you. Parts you don't want blasted should be taped or blocked off

2. Email us
Send us your pictures with a description of the work you'd like done
3. Facebook Messenger

No worries! Many of our customers don't. We can work with you to do your project in stages over time. As you can see from the "our work" web page, many of our customers start with just a fender, hood, parts etc. We will work with you as you progress through your project, so don't be afraid to ask!
